Ostasia stations

Die Länder Asiens zu unterteilen , ist keine einfache Angelegenheit. Traditionell zählen nun zu Ostasien die Länder China, Korea und Japan. Hier will ich noch Vietnam hinzufügen.
China ist ja schließlich ein riesiges Land mit unendlich alter Tradition. Hier entwickelt sich der öffentliche Verkehr rasant weiter. Das Eisenbahnnetz der Volksrepublik China ist vor Indien das längste Asiens und deckt alle Provinzen ab.
Korea hat sich ebenfalls in den letzten 30 jahren rasant entwickelt und besitzt diverse moderne Bahnhöfe, die durch Schnellfahrstrecken miteinander verbunden sind.
Japan hat schon eine ältere Traditon im Eisenbahnverkehr. Schon im 19. Jahrhundert gab es die ersten Bahnhöfe.

Sharing the countries of Asia is not a simple matter. Traditionally, the countries of China, Korea and Japan belong to East Asia. Here I will leave it at that.
China is a huge country with endless old tradition. Tthe transport development goes right here in the 21st century a rapid pace. By the end of 2012, the conventional rail network covered a total length of 98,000 km (60,894 mi) and the high speed rail network was 9,356 km (5,814 mi). China's rail transport volume is world's largest.
Korea has also developed rapidly over the past 30 years and has several modern railway stations that are linked by fast-track routes.
Japan already has an older tradition in rail transport. Already in the 19th century there were the first railway stations.

Ningbo station

Ningbo ist eine Küstenstadt der ostchinesischen Provinz Zhèjiāng. Die Stadt hat ca. 5,71 Mio. Einwohner (2010). Ningbo blickt zurück auf eine 7000jährige Geschichte. Schon früh gewann die Stadt Bedeutung im Außenhandel. Heute ist der Hafen Ningbos einer der wichtigsten Häfen Chinas. Dieser Bahnhof wurde Ende 2013 eröffnet. NIngbo Ost ist ein älteres Gebäude (s. unten)

Ningbo is a seaport city in the northeast of China's Zhejiang Province. The city has approximately 5.71 million inhabitants (2010). Ningbo, formerly written Ningpo, looks back on a history of 7000 years. Early on, the city gained importance in foreign trade. Today the port of Ningbo is one of the main ports of China.
This station was just opened in 2013. Ningbo East , see beneath, is an elder building.

Ningbo central station

In Ningbo wurde im Dezember 2014 ein neuer Bahnhof eröffnet. Die Flughafenarchitektur glänzt mit einer farblich wechselnden Beleuchtung des Auges.

Ninh Binh

Der Bahnhof liegt in Nord-Vietnam an der Nord-Süd-Eisenbahnlinie von Hanoi nach Ho-Chi-Minh-Stadt, ca. 100 km südlich von Hanoi.

The station is on the north-south railway line from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, about 100 km south of Hanoi.

Busan, Südkorea

Busan ist die zweitgrößte Stadt des Landes und liegt im südöstlichen Teil der Halbinsel. Der Hafen Busans ist der wichtigste Südkoreas. Am Bahnhof fährt der KTX nach Seoul in 160 Minuten.
Seit 1996 findet in Busan das Busan International Film Festival statt.

Busan is the second largest city in the country and is located in the southeastern part of the peninsula. The port of Busan is the most important in South Korea. At the station, the KTX goes to Seoul in 160 minutes.

Quingdao central station

ist eine Großstadt im Osten der Provinz Shandong, Ost-China, mit einer Bevölkerung von über 8.715.000. Qingdao ist eine wichtige Hafenstadt, Marinebasis und Industriezentrum. China übergab das Gebiet nicht ganz freiwillig an Deutschland im Jahre 1897, und die Kiautschou-Bucht Konzession für das deutsche Reich, existierte von 1898 bis 1914. In dieser Zeit ist die inzwischen berühmte Tsingtao-Brauerei gegründet worden. Dieses Bahnhofsgebäude  wurde 2008 renoviert und ist ein Beispiel für deutsche Architektur mit chinesischer Modernisierung.

Quingdao is a major city in eastern Shandong Province, Eastern China, with a population of over 8.715 million. Qingdao is a major seaport, naval base, and industrial centre. China conceded the area to Germany in 1897, and the Kiautschou Bay concession, as it became known, existed from 1898 to 1914. In this time the now famous brewery Tsingtao was founded. This station, renovated in 2008, is an example of German architectural traits incorporated into a Chinese-designed.

Seoul central station, Südkorea

One of Seoul's major landmarks, Seoul Station is a central hub for transportation throughout Korea, as well as Seoul. Trains run from here to most destinations south (along the Kyeongbu line), as well as a few to the north (along the Kyeongui line). Additionally, two of Seoul's subways intersect here (lines 1 and 4).
Seoul has 9.8 Mill inhabitants (2010). Seoul belongs to Metrolitan region Sudogwon togehter with the cities Incheon, Suwon and some other smaller cities.

Seoul Hauptbahnhof ist die Zentralstaion für die Verbindungen ins ganze Land. Die Schnellzüge KTXund San starten hier.

Die Einwohnerzahl von Seoul beträgt 9,8 Millionen (2010). Allerdings ist Seoul das Zentrum der Metropolregion Sudogwon (수도권, 首都圈). Zu diesem Ballungsraum gehören unter anderem die Millionenstädte Incheon und Suwon, und es leben etwa 23,8 Millionen Menschen (48,6 % der Südkoreaner) dort (2010).

Xiamen station

Xiamen City liegt an der Südostküste Chinas an der Mündung des Jiulong-Flusses. Gegenüber liegt Taiwan. Hier gibt es drei Bahnhöfe: Xiamen station, Xiamen North Station und Xiamen Gaoqi Station.
Dieser Bahnhof wurde am 17. April 1957 eröffnet und liegt auf der Xiamen Insel. Dies ist somit ein Kopfbahnhof.

Xiamen City is located in the southeast coast of China and the estuary of Jiulong River, near the Taiwan Strait, in front of Kinmen islands and across the sea with Taiwan Island and Penghu Islands.
There are three train terminals in Xiamen now: Xiamen Station, Xiamen North Station and Xiamen Gaoqi Station.
The station opened on April 17, 1957. Located in the south-western part of Xiamen Island, near downtown Xiamen, Xiamen Railway Station is a dead-end (terminal) station.

Yinchuan station

ist die Hauptstadt des Autonomen Gebietes Ningxia der Hui-Nationalität in der Volksrepublik China und liegt am Oberlauf des Gelben Flusses. Der Name der Stadt bedeutet Silberstrom.

Yinchuan is the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region The name of the city literally means "silver river". Yinchuan is located near the western bank of the upper course of the River, near the western end of the Great Wall of China.

Yokohama central station

Der bedeutende Knotenbahnhof wird gemeinsam von den Bahngesellschaften JR East, Keikyū, Sagami Tetsudō, Tōkyū Dentetsu und Yokohama Kōsoku Tetsudō betrieben.Er befindet sich auf der japanischen Insel Honshū in der Präfektur Kanagawa.

The major hub is jointly operated by JR East, Keikyū, Sagami Tetsudō, Tōkyū Dentetsu, and Yokohama Kōsoku Tetsudō, and is located on the Japanese island of Honshū in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Die früher staatliche Eisenbahnlinie hatte viele Schulden angehäuft, sodass die Privatisierung und Aufspaltung der Staatslinie 1987 Hoffnung auf Sanierung darstellte.

The former state railroad had accumulated a lot of debt, so privatization and splitting of the state line in 1987 represented hope for rehabilitation.
